April 2026 Academic Update

Assessments Completed and Final Term Activities Ahead

April 2026 Update – A Month of Assessment, Anticipation, and Achievement

April has been a month filled with hard work, focus, and growing excitement at Leaders Foundation Mission of Liberia as both students and staff continue to move steadily toward the close of the academic year.

A major highlight of the month was the participation of our Grade 3 and Grade 6 students in the WAEC examinations, administered by the West African Examinations Council during the third week of April. Our students showed dedication and perseverance throughout this important process. We are now patiently and prayerfully awaiting their results, believing in the effort they have put forth.

As one academic milestone concludes, another important phase has already begun. Students across all classes are now actively preparing for Fifth Period Testing. Classrooms are busy with revision sessions, practice exercises, and teacher-guided review activities designed to strengthen understanding and build confidence.

At the same time, excitement is building as we prepare to enter Period Six—the final period of the academic year. This is a season filled not only with final academic work, but also with celebration, reflection, and school spirit.

Our students are especially looking forward to the wide range of activities planned for Period 6, including:

  • Field Day activities

  • Spelling Bees

  • Academic Debates

  • Quizzing competitions

  • Soccer matches

  • Kickball games

  • Eating contest

  • The highly anticipated Country Cook

These events are designed to promote teamwork, talent, confidence, and joy as students celebrate the year’s accomplishments.

In addition, our staff is actively engaged in planning for the end-of-year ceremonies and celebrations, including:

  • Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony

  • K2 Graduation Ceremony

  • End-of-year academic awards and recognition events

These special moments mark important transitions in the lives of our students and serve as a reflection of their growth throughout the year.

As we move forward, we are filled with pride in our students’ progress and gratitude for our dedicated staff who continue to guide them with commitment and care.

We look ahead to Period 6 with excitement, knowing it will be a time of both joyful celebration and meaningful closure to a successful academic year.
